These notes in VI.A. are made in the "D" handwriting, which is akin to the inscrutable VI.B. handwriting. Danis Rose notes that these entries "read like a codification of the entire chapter. Most of the entries in question were used in late 1926 in constituting the earliest draft of the piece, though others, such as 'pftjschute' on page 746, do not function in revision before 1936" (JJA 28: xxviii). There is some minor duplication between these entries in VIA and in VIB 15, such as "sosie sizters" (VI.A: 744) and "sosie" (VI.B. 15: 34). This suggests that the earlier VI.B. 15 notes, which are random and scattered, preceded the focused VIA notes (cf. Hayman 1966).
